Biografija

1925–1929 m. dainuoti mokėsi Klaipėdos muzikos mokykloje (mokytoja Marija Čerkaskaja), 1929–1930 m. Kauno muzikos mokykloje (Vladislava Grigaitienė). Klaipėdos lietuvių operoje dainavo M. Petrausko operoje „Birutė“ ir Š. Guno „Faustas“. 1929 m. debiutavo Valstybės operoje, 1929–1944 m. solistė. 1933 m. vasarą tobulinosi Šv. Cecilijos akademijoje Romoje. 1934 m. dainavo radijo koncertuose Prahoje, Vienoje, Budapešte, Liepojoje. 1935–1936 m. koncertavo Rygoje, Taline.

1944 m. pasitraukė į Vokietiją, koncertavo lietuvių stovyklose ir kitur. 1947 m. Augsburge atliko pagrindinius vaidmenis operose „Madam Baterflai“ ir „Parduotoji nuotaka“, vėliau dainavo lietuviškai per Miuncheno radiją. 1949 m. su A. Kalvaityte, S. Baru, I. Nauragiu, V. Jakubėnu koncertavo Anglijoje. 1949 m. atvyko į JAV, koncertavo lietuvių kolonijose.[1]
