Ščiùtinas [1] (bltr. Шчучын; arba Ščiùčinas, rus. Щучин) – miestas vakarų Baltarusijoje, Gardino rajone, 57 km į pietryčius nuo Gardino. Rajono centras. Per miestą eina Gardino – Lydos kelias. Išvystyta maisto, įrengimų pramonė. Yra XIX a. architektūros paminklų.

Istorija

Ščiutinas rašytiniuose šaltiniuose minimas nuo 1436 m. XIX a. buvo miestelis, Lydos apskrities Ščiutino valsčiaus centras.[2]

Lietuvos 1920 m. žemėlapyje, sudarytame po taikos sutarties su Sovietų Rusija, gyvenvietė pavadinta Šukynas, 1933 m. topografiniame žemėlapyje – Ščiučinu. Miesto statusą įgijo 1962 m.[3]
