Ricardus (episcopus Wintoniensis)

Ricardus, interdum "de Toclivo" dictus, interdum "de Ilchester" (mortuus die 22 Decembris 1188) fuit episcopus et vir publicus Anglicus. Anno 1162/1163 archidiaconus Pictaviensis electus est et mox thesaurarius eiusdem dioecesis. Pro rege Henrico II ad aulas Alexandri III papae et Friderici I imperatoris profectus est. Die 1 Maii 1173 episcopus Wintoniensis electus est. Ab anno 1176 iusticiarius et senescalcus Normanniae meruit. Ibi die 28 Iunii 1180 in congressu iuxta Gisortium participavit cum regibus Henrico II et Philippo II.
