აკუსტიკური მასალა — ბგერათშთამნთქმელი და ბგერათსაიზოლაციო შუასადები მასალები.

ბგერათშთამნთქმელ მასალას უმთავრესად იყენებენ საწარმოთა შენობებსა (სამრეწველო საამქროები, მემანქანეთა ბიუროები) და ტექნიკურ მოწყობილობებში (ჰაერის კონდიცირებისა და ვენტილაციის დანადგარები) ხმაურის შესამცირებლად, აგრეთვე საზოგადოებრივ შენობათა (მაყურებელთა დარბაზები, აუდიტორიები, რადიოდა ტელესტუდიები და სხვა) სმენადობის ოპტიმალური პირობებისა და აკუსტიკური თვისებების გასაუმჯობესებლად. ბგერათშთანთქმის უნარს განაპირობებს მასალის ფოროვანი სტრუქტურა და ურთიერთდაკავშირებული ფორების სიჭარბე (ფორების მაქსიმალური დიამეტრი 2 მმ, საერთო ფორიანობა — მოცულობის არანაკლები 75%). ბგერათშთამნთქმელი მასალის ეფექტურობას განსაზღვრავს კოეფიციენტი α, რომელიც ტოლია შთანთქმული ენერგიის რაოდენობისა და მასალაზე დაცემული ბგერითი ტალღების ენერგიის საერთო რაოდენობის ფარდობისა. ბგერათშთამნთქმელი მასალა ბოჭკოვანი, მარცვლოვანი ან უჯრედოვანი აგებულებისაა. იგი შეიძლება იყოს რბილი, ნახევრად ხისტი ან სალი. რბილ ბგერათშთანმთქმელ მასალას (ბამბისა და მინაბოჭკოს ლეიბები და რულონები) ფოროვანი აფსკით ფარავენ ან ალუმინთან, აზბესტცემენტსა და სხვა პერფორირებულ ფურცლოვან ეკრანთან ერთად იყენებენ. ამ მასალის მოცულობითი მასა აღწევს 70 კგ/მ³-მდე საშუალო სიხშირის დროს (250–1000 ჰც) ბგერის შთანთქმის კოეფიციენტი (α) 0.7-იდან 0.85-მდე იცვლება. ნახევრად ხისტი მასალაა მინერალური ბამბის ან მინაბოჭკოს (მოცულობითი მასა — 80-130 კგ/მ³) და მერქანბოჭკოს ფილები (მოცულობითი მასა — 180-300 კგ/მ³), რომელთა ზედაპირს ფარავენ ფოროვანი საღებავით ან აფსკით. მასალის ბგერის შთანთქმის კოეფიციენტი α=0.65-0.75-ს (საშუალო სიხშირის დროს). ნახევრად ხისტია აგრეთვე ფოროვანი პლასტმასის ბგერათშთამნთქმელი ფილები. სალი მასალის ფილებს ამზადებენ დამარცვლული ან სუსპენზირებული მინერალური ბამბისა და კოლოიდური შემკვრელისაგან. ფილების ზედაპირს ღებავენ და სხვადასხვა ფაქტურას ანიჭებენ. ხისტი მასალის მოცულობითი მასა 300-400 კგ/მ³-ია. საშუალო სიხშირის დროს α=0.6-0.7. სალი მასალის სახესხვაობაა ფილები და დუღაბები, რომელთა შედგენილობაში შედის ფოროვანი შემვსები (ვერმიკულიტი, პემზა და სხვა) და თეთრი ან ფერადი პორტლანდცემენტები. იყენებენ ე. წ. აკუსტიკურ ფიბროლიტის ფილებსაც.

ბგერათსაიზოლაციო შუასადებ მასალას (მერქანბოჭკოს ფილები, მინერალური ბამბისა და მინაბოჭკოს რულონები და ფილები; მოცულობითი მასა — 30-120 კგ/მ³ ამზადებენ ორგანული ან მინერალური წარმოშობის ბოჭკოებისაგან, აგრეთვე ელასტიური აირსავსე პლასტმასისაგან (ქაფპოლიურეტანის, ქაფპოლივინილქლორიდის სინთეზური კაუჩუკის ლატექსის ფილები; მოცულობითი მასა — 40-270 კგ/მ³). ბგერათსაიზოლაციოდ ზოგჯერ სხმული ან დაფუჭვილი რეზინის ცალკეულ შუასადებს ხმარობენ. ბგერათსაიზოლაციო მასალას იყენებენ სართულშუა გადახურვის კონსტრუქციებში, შიგა კედლებსა და ტიხრებში, აგრეთვე ვიბროსაიზოლაციო შუასადებად მანქანა-მოწყობილობათა ქვეშ. თუ ამ მასალის დატვირთვა 20 მეგნ/მ²-ის (200 კგძ/სმ²) ტოლია, მისი დრეკადობის მოდული დაბალია — 1.2 მეგნ/მ²-მდე (12 კგძ/სმ²), ბგერათსაიზოლაციო მასალა ბგერის ძალასა და ვიბრაციას ასუსტებს მოქნილი ჩონჩხითა და ფორებში მოქცეული ჰაერით.
