ミュゼット（musette）は、フランスの地方の民族音楽と、そこから派生した様々な音楽概念について用いられる。

  1. 17世紀から18世紀にかけてフランスの貴族階級の間で大流行したバグパイプ。口からではなく、小脇に抱えたふいご送風式のバグパイプで、ミュゼット・ド・クール（仏語：musette de cour）ないしはバロック・ミュゼット（英語：baroque musette）と呼ばれる。ハーディ・ガーディとともに、想像上の「理想郷」あるいは「桃源郷」に住む羊飼いの楽器として扱われた。この楽器からイメージされた「ミュゼット」と題された小品も多く作曲された。
  2. 民族楽器のミュゼットのために作曲された旋律や舞曲のこと。あるいは、ミュゼットの響きを模した牧歌的な楽曲の意味でも使われる。後者の意味のミュゼットは、フランソワ・クープランによってクラヴサン作品として、またマラン・マレによってヴィオール作品として作曲されている。
  3. フランスの様々な地域において、伝統的な民族音楽に利用されるシャリュモー（キーなしのオーボエ）のこと。たいていの場合は、現代のオーボエよりも数音高い。ピッコロ・オーボエをキーつきのミュゼットとして作るオーボエ製作者がいるため、時にミュゼットとピッコロ・オーボエが混同され、ミュゼットがピッコロ・オーボエと呼ばれることもある。
  4. アコーディオンに用いられる調律法の一つ。英語で「ウェット・チューニング」と呼ばれる方法に該当。2つかそれ以上のリードを互いに心もちピッチ外れに調律して、ビブラートの効果が出るようにする。本来の「ミュゼット・チューニング」は、3つのリードを用い、1つをピッチに合わせ、1つをやや高く、残りの1つをやや低く調律する。しかしながら、多くのアコーディオンは、2個1組のリードしかないため、互いにピッチ外れにするしかない。また、「クラリネット」や「ヴァイオリン」とともに、「ミュゼット」がアコーディオンのある音域のリードの意味にも使われる。フランスのアコーディオンの響きの輝かしさは、高音域に相当するミュゼットの音色へのフランス人の偏愛のためもある。
  5. 1880年代から1940年代にかけて、アコーディオンを押し出したフランスのポピュラー音楽の一つ。中でもバル・ミュゼット（フランス語版、英語版）が代表的。
