ジョージ・リー (第2代リッチフィールド伯爵)

第2代リッチフィールド伯爵（英語版）ジョージ・ヘンリー・リー（英語: George Henry Lee, 2nd Earl of Lichfield、1690年3月12日 – 1743年2月15日）は、イングランド貴族。トーリー党所属[1]。1713年から1716年までクアレンドン子爵の儀礼称号を使用した[1]。

生涯

初代リッチフィールド伯爵エドワード・ヘンリー・リー（英語版）とシャーロット・リー（英語版）（1664年 – 1718年、旧姓フィッツロイ）の息子として、1690年3月12日に生まれた[1]。1716年7月14日に父が死去すると、リッチフィールド伯爵位を継承した[1]。

イングランド民事裁判所（英語版）のCustos Brevium（秘書職の1つ）を務めた[1]。

1719年、王立音楽アカデミー社（英語版）に出資した[2]。

1732年8月19日、オックスフォード大学よりD.C.L.（英語版）の学位を授与された[3][1]。

1743年2月15日に死去、25日にスペルスベリー（英語版）で埋葬された[1]。息子ジョージ・ヘンリーが爵位を継承した[1]。

家族

1718年5月までにフランシス・ヘイルズ（Frances Hales、1698年頃 – 1769年2月3日、第4代準男爵サー・ジョン・ヘイルズの娘）と結婚[1]、3男5女をもうけた[4]。
