禅道会

禅道会（ぜんどうかい）は、大道塾から独立し、1999年に長野県で設立された空手団体。代表は小沢隆。

概要

武道とは本来バーリトゥード、何でもありであるという理念から数ある空手団体・流派の中でも特に総合格闘技色が強い団体である。例えば、試合のルール的には近い位置にいる大道塾と比較すると、寝技対策により力を入れている。

総合格闘技に本格的に取り組んだ武道団体として草分け的存在で、多くの総合格闘技イベント（DEEP、JEWELSなど）に選手を数多く送り込んでいる。

稽古体系は基本稽古、移動稽古といった基本的な技の反復がおもである。それが動く禅という位置付けから禅道会という命名になった。

1年に1度、全国大会である「リアルファイティング空手道選手権大会」を開催している。

また生涯武道を体現する大会としてバーリトゥードアクセスリアルファイティング選手権という大会では幼児からシニアまで安全に試合に臨めるよう、体重・性別・年齢・防具の有無などで細かく階級を分けている大会も開催している。

青少年健全育成にも団体を挙げて力をいれ問題青少年のための自立支援事業も行っており、長野県とフィリピンにディヤーナ国際学園を設立した。

現在フィリピンでの施設は閉鎖されている。

教育関連著書は多数。

武道・格闘技界において本体はNPO法人日本武道総合格闘技連盟であり、禅道会そのものがNPO法人本体という完全なる特定非営利法人ということの草分け的存在。

Webサイトでは禅道会と連盟は区分されているが同一の組織である。
