増田隆一（ますだりゅういち、1960年 - ）は、日本の動物学者。北海道大学大学院理学研究院自然史科学部門教授。

人物

1960年、岐阜県関市生まれ (日本科学未来館 2006)。1989年北海道大学大学院理学研究科博士課程修了(理学博士)、学位論文の題は「Genetic, cytogenetic, and biochemical studies of LEC strain rats associated with spontaneous development of hepatitis and hepatocellular carcinoma(肝炎および肝細胞癌を自然発生するLEC系ラットの遺伝学的、細胞遺伝学的ならびに生化学的研究) 」^[1]。 1989年～1991年アメリカ国立がん研究所研究員、1991年～2001年北海道大学助手、2001年から北海道大学助教授、のち北海道大学大学院理学研究院自然史科学部門教授（担当科目：多様性生物学I・II、基礎生物学実習、系統進化学、動物系統分類学実習、生物科学研究実習）(北海道大学 2013)。著書として2005年に「動物地理の自然史」(増田隆一 & 阿部永 2005)、2006年に「ヒグマ学入門」(天野哲也, 増田隆一 & 間野勉 2006)、2013年に「生物学」(高畑雅一, 増田隆一 & 北田一博 2013)がある。1997年 - 1998年日本動物学会北海道支部委員、1994年 - 1996年日本哺乳類学会種名・標本検討委員、Mammal Study編集長、1996年国際自然保護連合(IUCN) 国際ネコ科専門委員(Cat Specialtist Group Member)。
