地理

名古屋市昭和区南西部に位置する[2]。南は広見町、北は永金町・広池町・池端町に接する[2]。かつては広見池と称する池があったが、耕地整理事業の実施により埋め立てられ宅地化している[3]。

広路町の字下丸屋に由来するという[3]。
