マイク・ポズナー（英: Mike Posner、1988年2月12日 - ）は、アメリカ合衆国のシンガーソングライター。当初は自身の曲として発表する予定だったがマルーン5に提供した『Sugar』は、YouTubeで39億回再生され、全米2位の大ヒットとなる。『I Took a Pill in Ibiza』のリミックスバージョンは全米5位、世界27ヶ国でトップ10入りを果たした。

概要

2008年から地元の友人であったラッパー、ビッグ・ショーンと共に制作活動を開始。2009年にミックステープ『A Matter of Time』を発表し、音楽業界から大きな注目を浴びた。

2010年4月にはデビューシングル『Cooler than Me』を発表。アメリカで年間19位、イギリスで年間33位など世界中で大ヒットを記録し、世間に一躍名を知られるようになった。翌月にはセカンドシングル『Please Don't Go』を発表。前作ほどのヒットには至らなかったものの、多くの国でゴールド・プラチナム認定された。

同年8月にファーストアルバム『31 Minutes to Takeoff』を発売。アメリカのBillboard 200で初週に約3万枚を売り上げ、チャート8位を記録するヒットとなった。

その後、ヒットに恵まれない時期が続くものの、ソングライターとしての才能を発揮。ジャスティン・ビーバーの『Boyfriend』(全米2位) やマルーン5の『Sugar』(全米2位) 等の多くのヒット作を生み出す。

2015年6月には久々の作品、EP『The Truth』を発表。

翌月に『The Truth』からのリードシングルとして『I Took a Pill in Ibiza』を発表。ノルウェーのDJ・SeeB（英語版）によるリミックスが収録され、このリミックスがスカンディナビア半島を中心にヒット。徐々に世界中でチャートを上り、2016年4月にはイギリスで1位、アメリカで6位などを記録する大ヒット作となり、見事カムバックを果たす。また、この曲はBillboard Hot 100の2016年年間シングルチャートで15位を記録している。このヒットと共に、初めはセールスが振るわなかった『The Truth』もアメリカで32位、カナダで15位のヒット作となった。

2016年5月にはセカンドアルバム『At Night, Alone.』を発売し、2016年の米年間チャートでは163位を記録。
