1936-1937年シーズンのセリエAからノヴァーラとアレッサンドリアがセリエBへ降格し、代わりにリヴォルノとアタランタがセリエAへ昇格した。アンブロジアーナが1929-1930年シーズン以来通算4回目のスクデットを獲得した。アンブロジアーナのジュゼッペ・メアッツァが得点王に輝いた。
