来歴

2013年にクロアチアA1リーグのKKズリニェヴァツでプロデビュー。翌2014年にKKツィボナに移籍し、ダリオ・サリッチと共にプレー。国内リーグと共にABAリーグやFIBAヨーロッパカップなどにも出身した[2]。2016年2月にセルビアのKKメガバスケットとの契約に合意した[3]。

2016年のNBAドラフトにて2巡目32位でロサンゼルス・レイカーズから指名され[4]、7月7日にレイカーズとの契約に合意した[5]。11月2日のアトランタ・ホークス戦でNBAデビューを果たして6得点、4リバウンド、1スティールを記録し、チームは123-116で勝利した[6]。2017年1月17日のデンバー・ナゲッツ戦で自身初のダブル・ダブルとなる11得点、13リバウンド、3ブロックを記録したが、チームは121-127で敗れた[7]。

ロサンゼルス・クリッパーズ

2019年2月7日にマイク・マスカラとのトレードで、マイケル・ビーズリーと共にロサンゼルス・クリッパーズへ移籍した[8]。

2022年1月19日のデンバー・ナゲッツ戦でキャリアハイとなる32得点を含む10リバウンド、3アシスト、1スティール、1ブロックを記録したが、チームは延長戦の末に128-130で惜敗した[9]。

6月28日にクリッパーズとの3年総額3,300万ドルの延長契約に合意した[10][11]。11月27日のインディアナ・ペイサーズ戦でキャリアハイとなる29リバウンドを含む31得点、3アシスト、3ブロックを記録し、チームは114-100で勝利した[12]。

2024年4月21日のダラス・マーベリックス戦でプレーオフキャリアハイとなる20得点、15リバウンドを記録し、チームは109-97で勝利した[13]。

8月30日にクリッパーズとの3年総額5,860万ドルの延長契約に合意した[14]。
