Worst Day è un singolo del rapper statunitense Future, pubblicato l'11 febbraio 2022 come primo estratto dal nono album in studio I Never Liked You.

L'8 febbraio 2022, Future ha condiviso con Kevin Samuels un video clip del brano, intitolato Healing Together with Dr. Kevin Samuels (guarire insieme con il dottor Kevin Samuels),[1] il giorno seguente, ne ha rivelato la copertina.

Descrizione

Il singolo è stato descritto come «un po' più morbido e patinato rispetto alla maggior parte dei singoli di Future». Nel brano dedicato a San Valentino, Future rappa dello stress che deriva dall'acquisto di regali per tante belle donne: «Valentine's Day, the worst day, got too many to please (San Valentino, il giorno peggiore, troppe persone da accontentare)».[2]

Video musicale

Il video musicale ufficiale di Worst Day è stato presentato in anteprima insieme alla canzone l'11 febbraio 2022.[3] Lo YouTuber americano e consulente sentimentale Kevin Samuels interpreta il terapeuta di Future, descrivendosi come un "consulente d'immagine professionista". All'inizio del video, Future confessa a Samuels la sua dipendenza dall'acquistare regali eccessivi a molte donne per San Valentino.[4] Ha aggiunto che di solito spende «circa due o tre» per i regali, con Samuels che presume che le cifre si riferiscano a migliaia, ma Future lo corregge e dice che si riferiscono a milioni.[5] Il video mostra Future fare proprio questo mentre è in compagnia di una donna, che ricopre di attenzioni con rose, gioielli costosi e altri oggetti di lusso.[6]
