NGC 3219 è una lontana e molto vasta galassia lenticolare (o ellittica) situata nella costellazione del Leone Minore, a una distanza di circa 758 milioni di anni luce dalla nostra Via Lattea.[1]
Scoperta
La galassia è stata scoperta l'11 aprile 1882 dall'astronomo francese Édouard Stephan.[1]
Descrizione
NGC 3219 è una galassia attiva (AGN).[2]
