NGC 2933 è una galassia a spirale barrata situata nella costellazione del Leone, a una distanza di circa 223 milioni di anni luce dalla nostra Via Lattea.[1]
Scoperta
La galassia è stata scoperta il 1 aprile 1864 dall'astronomo tedesco Albert Marth.[1]
