NGC 2823 è una galassia a spirale barrata situata nella costellazione della Lince, a una distanza di circa 354 milioni di anni luce dalla nostra Via Lattea.[1]
Scoperta
La galassia è stata scoperta il 13 marzo 1850 dall'astronomo irlandese George Johnstone Stoney.[1]
Descrizione
NGC 2823 ha una classe di luminosità I.[2]
