Lisa Gastoni, pseudonimo di Elisabetta Gastone (Alassio, 28 luglio 1935), è un'attrice ed ex modella italiana.

Biografia

Di padre italiano e madre irlandese, negli anni del dopoguerra si trasferisce a Londra, dove inizia la sua carriera di fotomodella e attrice. Approda al cinema italiano negli anni sessanta, interpretando alcuni film di genere. Successivamente, dopo un breve matrimonio con un noto professore di fisica, Constatine Manos, si lega al produttore Joseph Fryd, con cui nel 1966 gira da protagonista Svegliati e uccidi di Carlo Lizzani, nel quale si fa notare nel ruolo di Candida, compagna del «solista del mitra» Luciano Lutring, interpretato da Robert Hoffmann. La pellicola ottiene un notevole successo e l'interpretazione di Lisa Gastoni viene premiata con il Nastro d'argento.

In seguito è protagonista del film-scandalo Grazie zia (1968) dell'esordiente Salvatore Samperi, nel quale è la zia di un giovane finto-paralitico, interpretato da Lou Castel, attore-feticcio (svedese) del cinema del 1968, reduce dal successo di I pugni in tasca di Marco Bellocchio. L'interpretazione della Gastoni sarà premiata con la Targa d'oro ai David di Donatello.

«Io sono convinta che ciascuno di noi ha una sua età (...) Ci sono dei momenti fisici - perché nel cinema è soprattutto questione di momenti fisici - che ci sono più adatti, più giusti. In genere si chiamano "incontro col personaggio". In fondo il mio vero incontro col personaggio è avvenuto quando avevo ventinove anni, girando Grazie zia. All'età quindi di una donna nella sua pienezza, alla soglia della trentina. Non ero vecchia ma neppure giovane. Però ero fisicamente ed emotivamente giusta per il ruolo.»

Gastoni ne La seduzione (1973)

Negli anni settanta è presente in poche pellicole, per una sua scelta di lavorare solo con registi di qualità. Dopo essere quindi apparsa ne La seduzione (1973) di Fernando Di Leo, nel 1974 interpreta il ruolo di Claretta Petacci in Mussolini ultimo atto di Carlo Lizzani, e Amore amaro di Florestano Vancini, ispirato all'omonimo romanzo di Carlo Bernari, per il quale vincerà il suo secondo Nastro d'argento.

Dopo aver debuttato in teatro nel 1979 con La Celestina, di Fernando de Rojas, sotto la regia di Luigi Squarzina, si è ritirata dalla scene, dedicandosi alla pittura e alla scrittura. È ritornata al cinema a metà anni duemila; di questo secondo periodo si può ricordare Cuore sacro (2005) di Ferzan Özpetek, che la valse ancora due candidature, al David di Donatello, e al Nastro d'argento.
