James Rolder, detto Jimmy (Orland Park, 9 febbraio 2004), è un giocatore di football americano statunitense che milita nel ruolo di linebacker per i Detroit Lions della National Football League (NFL).

Carriera universitaria

Nella sua prima stagione a Michigan nel 2022, Rolder disputò 13 partite, mettendo a segno 14 tackle.[1] Nel 2023 disputò solamente sei partite a causa degli infortuni, con i Wolverines che a fine stagione vinsero il titolo nazionale.[2] Nel 2024 chiuse con 26 tackle.[3] Nel 2025 divenne titolare.[4][5] Nel primo turno fece registrare 4 placcaggi nella vittoria su New Mexico.[6] Nel nono turno totalizzò 10 tackle, un sack e un fumble recuperato nella vittoria sui Michigan State Spartans.[7] Per quella prestazione fu premiato come miglior difensore della Big Ten Conference della settimana.[8] Nella settimana 14 fece registrare un primato personale di 12 placcaggi contro i rivali di Ohio State.[9] Chiuse l'annata con 73 tackle, 2 sack e un intercetto, venendo inserito nella seconda formazione ideale della Big Ten.[10]

Rolder fu scelto dai Detroit Lions nel corso del quarto giro (118º assoluto) del Draft NFL 2026.[11]
