La clino-ferro-ferri-holmquistite è un minerale, un anfibolo appartenente al sottogruppo degli anfiboli di litio[2].

È stata descritta per la prima volta con il nome di ferri-clinoferroholmquistite in base ad una scoperta avvenuta nel massiccio di La Pedriza, sierra de Guadarrama, Spagna[3]. Il nome è stato poi cambiato in clino-ferro-ferri-holmquistite in seguito alla revisione della nomenclatura degli anfiboli del 2012[2].

Morfologia

La clino-ferro-ferri-holmquistite è stata scoperta sotto forma di aggregati granoblastici di cristalli da subedrali a euedrali posti tra un grano e l'altro della roccia o come microinclusioni[4].

Origine e giacitura

La clino-ferro-ferri-holmquistite è stata trovata nell'episienite associata ad albite, pirosseno, quarzo e titanite[4]. Si è formata per azione di fluidi acquei poco salini di origine non magmatica a temperature intorno a 520 °C e pressione fra 60 e 160 MPa sul granito porfiritico ricco di cordierite[5].
