Man of Vengeance

Man of Vengeance (Hanzi: 铁石心肠2019; bahasa Thai: หัวใจศิลา, translit. Hua Jai Sila 2019; bahasa Inggris: Man of Vengeance / Heart of Stone) adalah sebuah seri drama Thailand tahun 2019 yang diadaptasi dari novel Asoon Rerng Fai karangan Nawika. Seri tersebut terdiri dari 27 episode dan tayang perdana pada 4 Maret 2019.[1]

Sinopsis

Tor (Tor Thanapob), buah cinta dari pria kaya dan selingkuhannya. Setelah ibunya meninggal, Tor terpaksa harus tinggal di rumah keluarga ayahnya.

Di rumah tersebut, Tor kerap disiksa oleh ibu tiri dan saudara tirinya. Beruntung, ia masih memiliki satu teman bernama Mingta (Fern Nopjira). Mingta adalah tetangganya yang juga mendapatkan perlakuan kasar dari ibu dan saudara perempuannya. Suatu malam, Tor berusaha lari dari rumah lantaran terlibat masalah dengan ibu tirinya.

Tak ingin tertangkap ibunya, ia memilih melompat ke sungai. Sejak saat itu, Tor tak pernah ditemukan dan diangap telah meninggal. Padahal, Tor berhasil diselamatkan oleh seorang wanita tunasusila yang mengenal ibu kandungnya. Tor kemudian membuka lembaran baru hidupnya dan berganti nama menjadi Sila.

Beberapa tahun berselang, Sila telah menjadi pria sukses yang menjalankan bisnis prostitusi. Ia juga berubah menjadi pria kejam yang hanya memiliki satu tujuan hidup. Tujuan tersebut adalah membalas dendam kepada ibu tiri dan saudara tirinya yang pernah menyiksanya. Namun, siapa sangka, ia justru bertemu kembali dengan teman masa kecilnya, Mingta.

Mingta yakin kalau Sila adalah Tor karena kalung yang dipakainya. Sayang, Tor justru berpura-pura tak mengenali sahabat kecilnya karena ia terlalu fokus dengan rencana balas dendamnya.
