Lexus LX adalah seri mobil Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) besar dan mewah dari Lexus yang berbasis pada Toyota Land Cruiser. SUV Lexus Lain yang sejenis dengannya adalah Lexus GX yang berbasis Toyota Land Cruiser Prado

Generasi Pertama (1996-1999)

Pada tahun 1996, Toyota memasarkan Land Cruiser seri 80 yang mewah dengan nama Lexus LX450. Perbedaan dengan Land Cruiser yang dijual dengan nama Toyota adalah body cladding di samping, dan interior yang lebih mewah dengan perlengkapan standard yang lebih banyak.

Generasi Kedua (2000-2007)

Dengan mesin 4700 cc V8 245 hp, SUV ini diberi nama Lexus LX470. Berbasis Land Cruiser Cygnus yang dipasarkan di Jepang, LX470 memiliki penampilan depan yang berbeda total dari Land Cruiser 100. Cygnus dan LX470 hadir dengan lampu depan 4 buah, sedangkan Land Cruiser hanya 2 buah.

Generasi Ketiga (2008)

Akhirnya Lexus memperkenalkan calon pengganti LX470 pada tahun ini. LX570 dengan tenaga besar 381 hp dari mesin V8 5.7 liter, kemampuan menarik beban adalah 3.8 ton. Beragam fitur baru pun ditawarkan. Termasuk sebagian teknologi safety dari saudaranya, Lexus GX460.

Rencana penjualannya dimulai pada 2008. Desain yang jelas berbeda adalah grille depan, lampu utama dan bagian belakang .Terlebih desain lampu belakangnya, sangat berbeda. Layout panel dan instrumen juga turut dibenahi. Kualitas secara keseluruhan meningkat drastis.
