Ion Luca Caragiale (biasanya dikenal sebagai I. L. Caragiale; 13 Februari 1852 – 9 Juli 1912)[1] adalah penulis sandiwara, penulis cerita pendek, penyair, komentator politik dan jurnalis Rumania kelahiran Wallachia. Ia meninggalkan warisan budaya yang penting dan dianggap sebagai salah satu penulis sandiwara terbesar dalam bahasa Rumania dan sastra Rumania. Bersama Mihai Eminescu, Ioan Slavici dan Ion Creangă, ia dianggap sebagai salah satu perwakilan utama Junimea.
