I Want to Disappear adalah album studio kelima oleh grup musik pop-punk Amerika The Story So Far. Album ini dirilis pada 21 Juni 2024, melalui Pure Noise Records.[1] Ini adalah album pertama grup musik ini yang direkam tanpa pemain bas Kelen Capener, yang mengumumkan kepergiannya pada tahun 2022.

Latar belakang

Ben Hirschfield bertugas sebagai produser, dan rekayasawan rekaman, dengan bantuan dari Eric Chesek, Scott Goodrich, dan Jeff Citron. Pemain drum, Ryan Torf, melakukan rekayasa tambahan pada lagu-lagu dalam album ini. Jon Markson memadukan (mixing) rekaman, dengan bantuan dari Rich Costey, sebelum album ini diinduki (mastering) oleh Ted Jensen dan Brian Gardner. Sampul album dibuat oleh Nick Dahlen, dan Rob Chiarappa membantu produksi video musik.[butuh rujukan]

Perilisan

Tunggalan (single) pertama album ini, "Big Blind", dirilis pada 4 Agustus 2023. Lagu tersebut adalah lagu pertama The Story So Far dalam hampir lima tahun. Lagu ini direkam ulang dan dipadu ulang (remix) untuk album tersebut. Tunggalan kedua, "Letterman", dirilis pada 21 Maret 2024, bersama dengan video musik dan pengumuman resmi album. Tunggalan ketiga album ini, "All This Time", dirilis pada 8 Mei 2024.[2] Album ini, dan video musik untuk "Watch You Go", keduanya dirilis secara bersamaan pada tanggal 21 Juni 2024.
