G. (Géher) István László (Budapest, 1972. december 21. –) József Attila-díjas (2011) magyar költő, műfordító, esszéíró, tanár.

Életpályája

Szülei: Géher István (1940–2012) és Kepes Mária. 1993 óta rendszeresen publikál a hazai folyóiratokban. 1996 óta a József Attila Kör tagja. 1997-ben magyar-angol szakon szerzett diplomát az ELTE-n, ugyanekkor fejezte be tanulmányait a Láthatatlan Kollégiumban. 1997–2006 között a Toldy Ferenc Gimnázium tanára volt. 2004-től a Károli Gáspár Református Egyetem Összehasonlító Irodalomtudományi és Irodalomelméleti tanszékén docens.

Ritkán esszéket, kritikákat is ír. Verseket angol nyelvből fordít, többek között William Butler Yeats, Emily Dickinson, Sylvia Plath, Owen Sheers és Kei Miller műveit.
