Raž (lat. Secale), rod jednogodišnjeg i dvogodišnjeg raslinja i trajnica iz porodice trava (Poaceae). Postoji nekoliko priznatih vrsta[1], od kojih tri rastu i u Hrvatskoj, to su pješčana raž, gorska ili brdska raž, i uobijčajena obična raž.[2]
