קריירה

בראון נולד בהאנטסוויל, אלבמה, לאב כדורסלן עבר ומאמן כדורסל, ונקרא על שם קובי בראיינט.[1] הוא שיחק כדורסל בתיכון מקומי,[2][3][4] בו שימש אביו כמאמן קבוצת הכדורסל, ושיחק לצד אחיו. לאחר התיכון בחר לשחק עבור קבוצת הכדורסל של אוניברסיטת מיזורי.[5][6] בעונתו הראשונה באוניברסיטה קלע 5.8 נקודות והוסיף 3.7 ריבאונדים בממוצע למשחק,[7] בעונתו השנייה העמיד ממוצעים של 8 נקודות ו-6.2 ריבאונדים למשחק,[8] בעונתו השלישית העמיד ממוצעים של 12.5 נקודות, 7.6 ריבאונדים ו-2.5 אסיסטים למשחק[9] ובעונתו האחרונה העמיד ממוצעים של 15.8 נקודות, 6.4 ריבאונדים ו-2.5 אסיסטים ב-29.5 דקות למשחק.[10]

ב-23 באפריל 2023 הכריז כי יתמודד בדראפט 2023 ב-NBA.[11] בדראפט נבחר בבחירה ה-30 על ידי לוס אנג'לס קליפרס,[12] חתם על חוזה בקבוצה ב-3 ביולי[13] והצטרף לסגל הקבוצה לליגת הקיץ של ה-NBA.[14][15]
