ציפור אלוהים שבשמים (באנגלית: The Lord Lord Bird) הוא רומן משנת 2013 מאת ג'יימס מקברייד על הנרי שקלפורד, אדם משועבד, שמצטרף לג'ון בראון בתנועה לביטול העבדות של בראון. הרומן זכה בפרס הספר הלאומי לסיפורת בארצות הברית בשנת 2013 וקיבל ביקורות חיוביות מצד המבקרים.

עלילה

זיכרונותיו של הנרי שקלפורד, אדם משועבד בקנזס בתקופת קנזס המדממת, מתגלים בכנסייה של דלאוור. הנרי, שכונה "בצל קטן" על אכילת בצל גס במיוחד, נתקל בטעות בג'ון בראון בבית מרזח. בראון טועה לראות בהנרי כילדה ונותן לו שמלה ללבוש; קלפורד לובש את השמלה במשך רוב עלילת הרומן. השניים מתחברים יחד והנרי מספר על המפגשים שלו עם פרדריק דאגלס, הארייט טאבמן, ואת אירועי הפשיטה של ג'ון בראון על מעבורת הרפרס. הספר מסופר בגוף ראשון באמצעות הנרי.
