נקמה מרה (באנגלית: The Harder They Fall) הוא מערבון אמריקאי, בבימויו של ג'יימס סמואל, שכתב יחד עם בועז יכין את התסריט. בסרט מככבים ג'ונתן מג'ורס, אידריס אלבה, זאזי ביטס, לקית' סטנפילד, דלרוי לינדו ורג'ינה קינג.[1] הסרט הופץ בשרתי נטפליקס ב-3 בנובמבר 2021.[2]

עלילה

הסרט מבוסס בעיקר על שחקנים אפרו אמריקנים ואין דמויות לבנות בסרט למעט מספר חיילים לבנים ועיר של לבנים שבגדי התושבים, הבתים והרחובות נצבעו כולם בלבן. כל הדמויות בסרט הן של אנשים "רעים" אבל הסרט מחלק את הדמויות לרעים מסוגים שונים "רעים-טובים" ו"רעים-רעים" וגם "רעים-עצובים" וישנו גם איש החוק שיכול להיות מקוטלג כ"טוב-רע" או כ"רע-טוב".

בתקופת המערב הישן של אמריקה, נט לאב מרכיב מחדש את כנופייתו לשעבר כדי לנקום ברופוס באק האיש שרצח את הוריו והשאיר סימן צלב במצחו. הסרט פותח ברצח ומדלג מיד שנים רבות קדימה לתקופה שבה נט לאב כבר מנהיג כנופיה ששודדת שודדי בנקים. במקביל הכנופיה של רופוס באק משחררת את רופוס מהכלא בו אמור היה לרצות מאסר עולם. הנתיבים של לאב ובאק מצטלבים כאשר הכנופיה של לאב שודדת את הכנופיה של באק מיד לאחר שוד בנק של עשרים וחמש אלף דולר ומכאן הדרך לקרב בין שתי הכנופיות ובין שני המנהיגים היא בלתי נמנעת.

הפקה

הסרט הוכרז ביולי 2019, כאשר ג'ונתן מג'ורס לוהק לככב בסרט. המוזיקאי ג'יימס סמואל היה שותף לכתיבת הסרט וזה סרט הבכורה שלו כבמאי.[3] אידריס אלבה הצטרף בנובמבר וג'יי זי, הפיק את הסרט והוכרז כי הוא כותב מוזיקה מקורית לסרט.[4] עד ספטמבר 2020, זאזי ביטס, לקית' סטנפילד, דלרוי לינדו ורג'ינה קינג לוהקו גם הם לתפקידים בסרט.[5]

הצילומים היו אמורים להתחיל במרץ 2020 בסנטה פה, ניו מקסיקו, אך התעכבו כתוצאה מהשפעות מגפת COVID-19.[6][7] סינתיה אריבו, אשר לוהקה בתחילה, נאלצה לעזוב בגלל עיכובים שנגרמו בעקבות המגפה.[8] הצילומים החלו לבסוף בספטמבר 2020,[9][10] אך הושהו ב-15 באוקטובר לאחר ששחקן נבדק חיובי לקורונה.[11]
