אלן דניאל ממן (באנגלית: Alan Daniel Maman; נולד ב-25 באוקטובר 1977, בוורלי הילס, קליפורניה), הידוע גם בשם הבמה "דה אלכימיסט" (The Alchemist), הוא מפיק ראפ והיפ הופ, DJ וראפר אמריקאי יהודי. דה אלכימיסט התפרסם בשנות ה-90 המאוחרות, עת היה שותף ללהקה "The Whooliganz". בשנות האלפיים הפיק שירים רבים לאמני היפ הופ וראפ מובילים. כיום הוא עובד עם הראפר אמינם כמפיק הרשמי שלו. בימי "The Wooliganz", צמד מוקדם יותר שהיה חבר בו, כינוי של דה אלכימיסט היה: "MudFoot" ("מאדפוט", מילולית: "רגל-בוץ").

קריירה

תחילת הדרך

Eminem Presents: The Re-Up

בשנת 2006, הראפר אמינם הוציא לאור אלבום מיקסטייפ בשם "Eminem Presents: The Re-Up" (בעברית: "אמינם מציג: הרי-אפ"). דה אלכימיסט, שהוא המפיק הרשמי של אמינם, הפיק מספר קטעים מהמיקסטייפ, וגם שמר על האווירה המיקסטייפית שלו, דבר שהוא מתמחה בו.

פרויקטים אחרים

דה אלכימיסט הוא גם המפיק המוזיקלי של המשחק ה-10 בסדרת Grand Theft Auto שנקרא "Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars". הוא היה אצל טים ווסטווד כשאמינם, רויס דה 5'9" ומיסטר פורטר עשו אצלו אלתורים, בתור מפיק מוזיקלי. בריאיון עם ה"Worldwide Conspiracy Radio" בשנת 2010 הוא הכריז שהוא הולך לעשות 2 פרויקטים עם הראפר/מפיק או-נו (בשם המשותף Gangrene) שהראשון (ושמו "Sawblade EP" בעל 4 שירים ו-4 האינסטרומנטליים שלהם) יצא ביולי של אותה שנה והשני (ושמו "Gutter Water") יופץ בנובמבר. דה אלכימיסט היה גם הדי ג'יי של אמינם בתוכנית האירוח "ג'ונתן רוס" ב-BBC1 ב-4 ביוני 2010.

בשנת 2017 חבר לצמד כהן@מושון והראפר מיכאל סוויסה והפיק את השיר "אין שום בעיה" מתוך האלבום "ימים ארוכים".


בשנת 2020 הוציא לאור ביחד עם הראפר פרדי גיבס את האלבום "Alfredo". האלבום היה מועמד לפרס גראמי לאלבום הראפ הטוב ביותר בטקס פרסי גראמי ה-63.

חיים אישיים

נולד בשם אלן ממן למשפחה יהודית.[1] בשנת 2020 נולד ילדו הבכור.[2]
