ביוגרפיה

טיילור-קלאוס נולד/ה באטלנטה, ג'ורג'יה[1] למשפחה יהודית.[2] כשלמד/ה בכיתה ג' הוא/היא החל/ה לשחק במחזות של שייקספיר אחרי שעות הלימודים, וגם במהלך הקיץ.[3] בנוסף, טיילור-קלאוס השתתף/ה בקבוצת אלתורים בתיכון וגילם/ה כמה תפקידים במהלך שנות לימודיו.[4] יתר על כך, בחטיבת הביניים הוא/היא הקים/ה יחד עם חבריו/ה קבוצת משחק כדי להכשיר שחקנים צעירים. בנוסף לדרמה, טיילור-קלאוס היה/הייתה ספורטאי/ת, ושיחק/ה בתפקיד התופס/ת בקבוצת הסופטבול של התיכון, וגם כשחקן/ית בסיס שלישי.[5] באמצע 2012, טיילור-קלאוס עבר/ה ללוס אנג'לס כדי להמשיך בקריירת המשחק שלו/ה, ולמד/ה באקדמיית ברידג'ס.

לאחר שהתפרסם/ה בזכות תפקידיו/ה ב"ההריגה" ו"החץ", טיילור-קלאוס המשיך/ה לשחק כמה תפקידי אורח במספר סדרות טלוויזיה, ביניהן "Glee" ו"איי זומבי".[11][12] ב-2016, הוא/היא החל/ה לדבב את דמותה של קייטי "פידג'" הולט, הדמות הראשית בסדרת האנימציה של נטפליקס, "וולטרון: המגן האגדי".[13][14]

בנובמבר 2016, טיילור-קלאוס יצא/ה מארון כהומוסקסואל בציוץ בטוויטר, בו כתב/ה: "שלום שמי בקס, וכן, השמועות נכונות – אני הומו".[20][4] ביולי 2018, טיילור-קלאוס יצא/ה מהארון כא-בינארי בציוץ דומה והצהיר/ה כי הוא/היא משתמש/ת בכינוי הגוף they/them.[21][22][23]

טיילור-קלאוס אובחן/ה עם הפרעת קשב וריכוז בבית הספר היסודי והחל/ה לשחק בענפי ספורט שונים, ביניהם בייסבול, מה שלדבריו/ה עזר לשלוט בה.[24]

באוגוסט 2019, טיילור-קלאוס התארס/ה לבת זוגו/תה, השחקנית אליסיה סיקסטוס (אנ'),[25] ובאוקטובר 2020 הם נישאו.[26]
