אליאב ליבליך הוא משפטן, פרופסור חבר בפקולטה למשפטים ע"ש בוכמן באוניברסיטת תל אביב, חוקר בתחום המשפט הבין-לאומי הפומבי וזכויות אדם.

ביוגרפיה

ליבליך נולד וגדל בירושלים. אימו היא הפסיכולוגית והסופרת פרופסור עמיה ליבליך, ואביו היה הפרופסור לפסיכולוגיה ישראל ליבליך. סבו מצד אימו הוא משה אריה קורץ. ב-2006 סיים את לימודי התואר הראשון במשפטים ובלימודי האסלאם והמזרח התיכון באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים, ובשנת 2007 סיים התמחות בבית המשפט העליון בלשכתו של השופט (בפועל) דוד חשין. בשנת 2009 סיים (בהצטיינות) את לימודי התואר השני במשפטים באוניברסיטת קולומביה, בה סיים גם את הדוקטורט בשנת 2012.

משנת 2012 עד 2016 היה ליבליך חבר סגל בבית הספר רדזינר למשפטים באוניברסיטת רייכמן, ובשנת 2016 הצטרף לפקולטה למשפטים, אוניברסיטת תל אביב. ליבליך שימש פרופסור אורח בבתי הספר למשפטים של אוניברסיטת נורת'ווסטרן ואוניברסיטת קולומביה.

מחקריו

תחום התמחותו של ליבליך הוא משפט בין-לאומי פומבי, בדגש על דיני השימוש בכוח, הלחימה ודיני זכויות האדם. מחקריו בנושאים אלה מתמקדים, בין היתר, בקשר שבין המשפט הבין-לאומי לאתיקה של מלחמה, וכן בהיסטוריה של המשפט הבין-לאומי.

בגין מחקריו, זכה ליבליך במלגת אלון בשנת תשע"ט, ובפרס צגלה לחוקר צעיר, וכן בשלושה מענקי מחקר מטעם הקרן הלאומית למדע (ישראל).

פעילות ציבורית

ליבליך הוא חבר בפורום המרצות והמרצים למשפטים למען הדמוקרטיה, הפועל נגד השינויים שהוצעו במערכת המשפט בשנת 2023.[1]
