"I Didn't Change My Number" (בעברית: "לא שיניתי את המספר שלי") הוא שיר שהוקלט על ידי הזמרת-יוצרת האמריקאית בילי אייליש. השיר יצא לאור ב-30 ביולי 2021, על ידי חברות התקליטים דארק-רום ואינטרסקופ, כרצועה מתוך האלבום, Happier Than Ever.

רקע ופרסום

השיר נכתב על ידי אייליש, יחד עם אחיה, פיניאס או'קונל, שגם הפיק את השיר.[1] "I Didn't Change My Number" היא הרצועה השנייה מתוך אלבומה השני של אייליש, Happier Than Ever.[2] בתחילת השיר, נשמעות נביחות של הכלב של אייליש, שארק. פיניאס, אחיה, רמז על כך שהנביחות יישמעו באחת הרצועות, בטרם יציאת האלבום.[1] בריאיון ל-"Open House party", אישרה אייליש כי במקור היה אמור השיר להיקרא "Laura".[3]

ב-30 ביולי 2021, יום יציאת האלבום, עלה קליפ המילים הרשמי לשיר בערוץ היוטיוב של אייליש.[4]

בסמוך לצאתו, עלה השיר לרשת הזרמת המדיה ספוטיפיי, תוך שהצליח לצבור שם למעלה מ-111 מיליון השמעות.[2]

ביקורות

השיר זכה לביקורות חיוביות ולשבחים רבים מצד המבקרים. ליסה רייט ממגזין DIY כינתה את השיר "יורשו הרוחני של 'Bad guy'" (להיטה הגדול של אייליש, מתוך אלבום הבכורה שלה), וכתבה כי השיר הוא בעל "טון ווקאלי מפתה ועוצמתי".[5] באתר "AllMusic", צוין השיר, יחד עם הסינגלים "Therefore I Am" ו-"Lost Cause" כשירים המעניקים לאלבום "אווירת טריפ-הופ נוסטלגית" ומשמשים כ"הסחות דעת שובבות" מהבלדות הרגועות שבאלבום.[6]

רבים ממבקרי המוזיקה ציינו לחיוב את הפקת השיר. אלכס מקלוי מהעיתון המקוון "The A.V. Club" שיבח את אחיה של אייליש, פיניאס או'קונל, שהפיק את השיר, ואת השילוב בין המוזיקה האלקטרונית ומוזיקת הטראפ שבשיר.[7] במגזין "Clash" נכתב על השיר: "'I Didn't Change My Number' הוא שיר לחישות על חרטה, אבל הקול שבו - מלא בעדינות, ומתאזן הודות לקצב הטראפ וההיפ הופ המודרני של השיר".[8]

על אף הביקורות החיוביות, סבר טים סנטז מהאתר "Beats Per Minute" כי השיר "מרגיש ריק למדי מבחינה נושאית, בהשוואה ל-'Goldwing' (רצועה אחרת מתוך האלבום)".[9]
