פטריק ג'והנס אדמס (באנגלית: Patrick Johannes Adams; נולד ב-27 באוגוסט 1981) הוא שחקן ומגיש פודקאסט קנדי. ידוע בעיקר בזכות גילום תפקידו של מייק רוס בסדרה "Suits"‏ (2011 - 2019).[1] בנוסף, עוסק גם בצילום.

ביוגרפיה

אדמס נולד בטורונטו, אונטריו שבקנדה; בנם של רואן מארש ושל העיתונאי קלוד אדמס[2]. הוא למד בבית הספר התיכון Northern Secondary School שבטורונטו[3].

בעקבות גירושי הוריו כשהיה בן 19, עבר אדמס מטורונטו ללוס אנג'לס, שם למד באוניברסיטת דרום קליפורניה. בשנת 2004 זכה אדמס בפרס על שם ג'ק ניקולסון, אשר מעניק מלגות מימון לשחקנים מתחילים בעלי פוטנציאל יוצא מן הכלל[4].

קריירה

בטלוויזיה

אדמס הופיע בפרקים של סדרות הטלוויזיה "אורות ליל שישי", "גבירתי הנשיא", "אגדות המחר" ו-"Suits"[5]. הוא גם גילם אחים תאומים בפיילוט משנת 2008 "התנהגות טובה" של רשת ABC. בשנת 2009, הוא זכה בתפקיד הראשי בסדרת הדרמה "הסוכנות", יחד עם טרישה הלפר וויליאם דיווין[6][7].

בשנת 2007, מילא אדמס תפקיד אורח בסדרת הטלוויזיה "אבודים", שם גילם בחור צעיר המחפש את ג'ון לוק. באותה התקופה, שיחק גם בתיאטרון לוס אנג'לס, בין היתר בהפקה "Marat/Sade", אותה אדמס הפיק וביים עבור חברת Blue House Theatre Company[8].

בקיץ 2011, החל אדמס בגילום התפקיד הראשי המשותף בסדרת הטלוויזיה "Suits" (נקראה במקור A Legal Mind), אשר משודרת בערוץ USA Network, וזאת לאחר שפוטר מתפקידו בסדרה "Friends With Benefits" של רשת NBC האמריקאית[9]. גילום תפקידו של מייק רוס בסדרה זיכה אותו בשבחים רבים. החל מהעונה השלישית, אדמס, יחד עם שותפו לסדרה בתפקיד הראשי, גבריאל מאכט, הפך למפיק שותף של הסדרה, והשניים ביימו מספר פרקים במהלך העונה השלישית ואילך[10]. בינואר 2018 נודע כי אדמס יעזוב את התוכנית החל מעונתה השמינית[11]. בנובמבר 2024, אדמס סיפר שההתמודדות שלו עם אלכוהול השפיעה על העונה האחרונה שלו בסדרה.[12]

בשנת 2016, נבחר אדמס לגלם את תפקידו של איש השעה בסדרת הטלוויזיה "אגדות המחר" של רשת The CW[13][14].

באוגוסט 2024 פורסם כי אדמס לוהק לספין-אוף של "ילוסטון", "The Madison", יחד עם אל צ'פמן ובו גארט. הם הצטרפו למישל פייפר שכבר הוכרזה ככוכבת הראשית של הסדרה. אדמס יגלם את ראסל מקינטוש, בנקאי השקעות צעיר שנאחז במסלול החיים שהוכתב לו מראש[15].

בקולנוע

פעילותו הקולנועית של אדמס כוללת תפקידי משנה בסרטים Old School ו-Two: Thirteen, כמו גם תפקידים ראשיים בסרטים Weather Girl ו-Rage, בבימויו של סאלי פוטר.

עיסוקים אחרים

מאז ספטמבר 2024, אדמס מנחה יחד עם שרה רפרטי פודקאסט בשם "Sidebar: A Suits Rewatch", שמסקר את עונות הסדרה "Suits".[12]

חיים אישיים

במהלך דצמבר 2016, אדמס נישא לשחקנית האמריקאית טרויאן בליסאריו, כוכבת הסדרה "שקרניות קטנות"[16]. השניים נפגשו לראשונה בשנת 2009, כאשר שניהם התחרו על תפקיד במחזה Equivocation מאת ביל קיין[17]. בני הזוג נפרדו זמן קצר לפני הופעתו של אדמס בתפקיד אורח בסדרה שקרניות קטנות, אבל הם חידשו את הקשר במהלך שנת 2010. ב-8 באוקטובר 2018 נולדה בתם הבכורה, ב-15 במאי 2021 נולדה בתם השנייה.

אדמס סיפר כי במהלך העונה השביעית של הסדרה "Suits", בה נכתב תפקידו מחוץ לתוכנית, הוא נאבק בדיכאון וצריכת אלכוהול מוגזמת.[12]

אדמס תמך במועמד הדמוקרטי ברני סנדרס במהלך הבחירות לנשיאות ארצות הברית בשנת 2016.

במהלך ספטמבר 2013, לאדמס הוענק תואר חברות כבוד לכל החיים מטעם UCD Law Society[18][19][20].

אדמס מנגן בגיטרה, והוא חובב מושבע של צילום, ומחזיק ביותר מ-25 מצלמות[21].
