ביוגרפיה

סשה קולבי נולדה בוויימנלו, הוואי. היא גדלה בבית שמרני של עדי יהוה.[6]

כנערה, היא התלבשה בדראג בסתר. היא הייתה נועלת את עצמה בחדר המקלחת ולובשת את הבגדים של אחותה.[7]

קריירה

סשה קולבי תוארה כ"מלכת יופי", "אגדת דראג"[8] ו"אגדת תחרויות יופי".[9] היא זכתה בתחרות מיס קונטיננטל ב-2012.[10][11]

סשה קולבי ידועה גם כאקטיביסטית לזכויות טרסג'נדרים.[12] ב-2020, היא ייצגה את הוואי בסרטון של הליגה ההומו-לסבית נגד השמצה אשר כלל מלכות דראג מכל 50 המדינות ו-וושינגטון די. סי במטרה לעודד בוחרים בבחירות לנשיאות ארצות הברית 2020.[13] לפני מגפת הקורונה, היא ארגנה אירוע חודשי כוללני לטרנסג'נדרים ב-The Chapel, בר גיי בווסט הוליווד, קליפורניה.[14]
