יחסי גינאה ביסאו–שוודיה הם היחסים הדיפלומטיים בין גינאה ביסאו ושוודיה. שגריר שוודיה בפורטוגל אחראי על יחסי המדינה עם גינאה ביסאו.[1] גינאה ביסאו מוסמכת לשוודיה משגרירותה בבריסל ומקיימת קונסוליית כבוד בסטוקהולם.

היסטוריה

טרם קבלת העצמאות של גינאה ביסאו

היחסים בין שוודיה לבין מה שייהפך בעתיד לגינאה ביסאו החלו עוד בשנות ה-60 של המאה ה-20. ב-1960 החלו להשתפר יחסיהם הכלכליים של שוודיה ושל פורטוגל, ששלטה בגינאה ביסאו. ב-1950 0.04% מסך הייבוא השוודי הגיע ממושבותיה של פורטוגל באפריקה, סך של 2.3 מיליון קרונות שוודיות. ב-1960 ירד סך הייבוא מאזורים אלה לשוודיה על 0.03% מכל המדינות שמהן ייבאה שוודיה מוצרים, אך הייצוא משוודיה לאזורים אלה האמיר לכדי 0.08%.[2]

המפלגה הראשונה שקראה לעצמאות המושבות באפריקה וקיבלה תמיכה משוודיה הייתה מפלגת PAIGC, שקראה לעצמאותה של גינאה ביסאו.[3] יחסים אלה כוננו עוד בראשית שנות ה-60, כשאמילקר קברל, ראש תנועת העצמאות במערב אפריקה, ביקש מעיתונאי שוודי להירתם למאבק למען עצמאות גינאה ביסאו. ב-1967 ביקר מזכירה הבינלאומי של מפלגת הסוציאל-דמוקרטים השוודית בפורטוגל. לאחר שובו הוא קרא לחברי מפלגתו לתמוך במפלגת PAIGC.

לאחר קבלת העצמאות של גינאה ביסאו

גינאה ביסאו הפכה למדינה עצמאית ב-24 בספטמבר 1973. באותה העת, מפלגת PAIGC עדיין נלחמה מול הכוחות המזוינים של פורטוגל במדינה. בשוודיה, קבוצות כמו מפלגת השמאל ותנועת הסולידריות של קבוצות אפריקה, קראו לממשלת שוודיה להכיר בגינאה ביסאו. עם זאת, יחסים דיפלומטיים כוננו בין שתי המדינות ב-9 באוגוסט 1974[4] (בעקבות מהפכת הציפורנים), היחסים כוננו חודש לפני שפורטוגל חזרה בה מתביעותיה מהאזור.

לאחר עצמאותה של גינאה ביסאו, היחסים הכלכליים בין שתי המדינות התרכזו סביב הסיוע של שוודיה למען פיתוחה של גינאה ביסאו. לאחר ההכרה בעצמאות גינאה ביסאו, היא הייתה המדינה המערב אפריקאית היחידה שהוגדרה כ'מדינת תוכנית' לסיוע לפיתוח שוודי.[5]
