יהודה רשף (רייף) (1926–2004) היה קצין בצה"ל ומנכ"ל רכבת ישראל. פיקד על גדוד 890 ועל חטיבת הבקעה.

שירותו הצבאי

רשף נולד בארץ ישראל. במלחמת העולם השנייה לחם בשורות הבריגדה היהודית. במלחמת העצמאות שירת בחטיבת כרמלי[1] כמפקד מחלקה. בחודש מרץ 1948 פיקד על פעולת תגמול על רצח ארבעה פועלים יהודים של חברת החשמל, במהלכה הרג הכוח בפיקודו 15 ערבים והצית משאיות פרי בדרך לעכו[2]. לאחר מכן עלה בגורלו לצאת בשיירת יחיעם[3].

רשף הצטרף לגדוד הצנחנים 890 כמפקד פלוגת המילואים של הגדוד[4]. לאחר מכן הצטרף לסיירת צנחנים והיה מפקדה השני, לאחר מאיר הר-ציון[5], בין היתר בפעולת קלקיליה[6]. הסיירת בפיקודו הציבה מחסום ליד עזון למניעת הגעת תגבורת, ובקרב הקשה שהתפתח נפצע[7]. בהמשך היה סגן מפקד גדוד 88 ומפקד גדוד 28 של הצנחנים. בשנים 1960–1958 היה מפקד גדוד 890. במלחמת ששת הימים היה מפקד חטיבת יפתח שהשתתפה בכיבוש המוצבים עלי אל-מונטר ואל-קובה ובכיבוש העיר עזה. לאחר מותו של אריה רגב ביולי 1968, מונה למפקד חטיבת הבקעה, ועסק עם סגנו משה לוי, בשכלול ניהול המרדפים[8].

לאחר מכן היה ראש מחלקת המבצעים במטה הכללי[1]. בשנת 1971 מונה למפקד המנהל האזרחי במרחב שלמה, במטרה להניע את הקמת אופירה[9]. לאחר פחות משנה עזב את התפקיד בביקורת על חוסר העשייה[10] ומונה בידי שמעון פרס למנכ"ל רכבת ישראל. רשף עסק בגיבוש תוכנית חומש לפיתוח רכבת ישראל[11], אך לא המשיך בתפקיד זמן רב. לאחר שנתיים נקרא על ידי שמעון פרס למשרד הביטחון[12]. עם פרוץ מלחמת יום הכיפורים גויס למילואים הגיע לפיקוד הצפון, שם מונה על ידי חיים בר-לב לקצין אג"ם נוסף בפיקוד הצפון[13].
