San Xoán Degolado de Vilamartín Pequeno é unha parroquia que se localiza no concello de Barreiros. Segundo o padrón municipal de 2004 tiña 68 habitantes (36 homes e 32 mulleres), distribuídos en 4 entidades de poboación, o que supón unha diminución en relación ao ano 1999, cando tiña 76 habitantes. Segundo o IGE, no 2014 a súa poboación descendera ata os 49 habitantes, sendo 26 homes e 23 mulleres.

Limita ó oeste, rego de Lexoso por medio, con Vilamartín Grande.

É o lugar por onde entra o Camiño Norte de Santiago en Barreiros, dende Arante, Ribadeo antes de pasar a Vilamartín Grande.
