Tshekardocoleidae é unha familia extinguida de escaravellos, coñecida desde o Permiano. Representa algúns dos escaravellos máis antigos. Igual que outros escaravellos primitivos, pénsase que debían ser xilófagos.[1] Apareceron durante o Cisuraliano e acabaron extinguíndose ao principio do Guadalupiano.[1] Existe un suposto rexistro no Xurásico, mais é dubidoso.[2] O escaravello máis antigo coñecido, Coleopsis, foi asignado orixinalmente a esta familia, pero agora está clasificado na súa propia familia, a Coleopsidae.[2]

Kirejtshuk (2020) incluíu os seguintes xéneros en Tshekardocoleidae[2]

O xénero Uralocoleus foi situado nesta familia por algúns autores, pero a especie tipo Uralocoleus splendens Zalessky 1947 foi considerada incertae sedis por Kirejtshuk (2020) como un posible escaravello ou cascuda. A segunda especie situada no xénero "Uralocoleus" ultimus foi retirada da súa clasificación en Uralocoleus e pasou a considerarse "genus incertus" ultimus Ponomarenko, 2000.[2]
