Limita cos concellos de Lemi, Luumäki e Taipalsaari na súa mesma rexión, Kouvola na rexión veciña de Kymenlaakso, e Mikkeli, Mäntyharju e Puumala, pertencentes á rexión de Savonia do Sur.
