Royal Mail Ship (RMS: "Buque do Correo Real"), tamén denominado Royal Mail Steamship (ou Steamer), é un prefixo naval utilizado nos transatlánticos que transportan o correo da Royal Mail británica. Algúns barcos famosos con este acrónimo foron o RMS Olympic, o RMS Titanic, e tamén o RMS Mauretania e mailo RMS Lusitania.

A denominación Royal Mail Ship empezou a ser usada en 1840,[1] e foi utilizada por un gran número de compañías, mais frecuentemente é asociada coa Cunard Line,[2][3] que fixo coa Royal Mail un gran contrato de transporte e usou o prefixo tradicional RMS en case todas as súas naves. Hoxe en día continúa usándoo no seu buque insignia, o RMS Queen Mary 2.
