O Olympique d'Antibes Juan-les-Pins, tamén coñecido como Antibes Sharks, é un club de baloncesto profesional francés con sede na cidade de Antibes (Provenza-Alpes-Costa Azul). O equipo compite actualmente na LNB Pro B, a segunda categoría do baloncesto galo. Entre os seus títulos destacan tres campionatos de liga, conseguidos en 1970, 1991 e 1995. O seu pavillón como local é o Azur Arena, con capacidade para 5.249 espectadores.

Historia

O Olympique d'Antibes foi fundado no ano 1933, aínda que non competiu a nivel nacional até a década de 1950 cando conseguen o ascenso Nationale 1, a actual Pro A. Só permaneceu un ano na categoría, regresando á segunda división, converténdose a partir de comezo dos anos 60 nun equipo ascensor. En 1970 o equipo logra o seu primeiro título de Liga da man de xogadores como Jean-Claude Bonato, Dan Rodriguez e Jacques Cachemire. Co comezo dos anos 1980, o Antibes sufriu moitas temporadas decepcionantes, aínda que foi mellorando co paso dos anos até a consecución dun novo título en 1991. A partir desta data o equipo convértese nun dos principais contendentes ao campionato xunto ao Limoges CSP e o Pau-Orthez. En 1995, tras conseguir o seu terceiro título, comezaron os problemas económicos no club.

O peor momento chegou no ano 2002, cando, a pesar de terse salvado deportivamente, o equipo descende á ProB debido aos problemas financeiros. Os seguintes anos na segunda categoría foron complicados, chegando mesmo a descender na temporada 2006–07 á Nationale 1, unha categoría afeccionada. Este descenso produciuse após ocupar o décimo sexto lugar na liga. Este posto usualmente daba a salvación aos equipos, mais ese ano decidírase reducir o número de equipos das ligas profesionais francesas. Con todo, o equipo consegue recuperar a categoría na seguinte temporada, gañando ademais ese primeiro ano a Copa Pro B.

Tras varios anos na Pro B, na temporada 2013 o equipo ambiciona de novo o ascenso. Para iso tiña que competir con outros favoritos como o Pau-Orthez e o Hyères Toulon, procedentes da Pro A, e o JL Bourg. O equipo acaba finalmente no quinto posto, o cal lle permite xogar os play-offs polo ascenso. Nas eliminatorias consegue eliminar en primeira rolda ao Boulogne-sur-Mer, en semifinais ao Pau-Orthez e na final ao Champagne Châlons-Reims. O seu retorno á máxima categoría, porén, foi breve, xa que acaban no último lugar con seis vitorias e vinte e catro derrotas. Con todo, o paso polo Pro B esta vez foi máis breve, retornando en tan só un ano á máxima categoría. Nesta ocasión o equipo acabou en segundo lugar na liga regular e gañou nos play-offs polo ascenso a Le Portel, Denain Voltaire e Souffelweyersheim.[1]
