Mito do amor romántico

O mito do amor romántico, ou en plural mitos do amor romántico, comprende a análise daquelas ideas sobre o amor que se consideran construídas desde o ámbito social ao longo da historia.

Na sociedade occidental no século XXI analízanse como mitos do amor romántico a predestinación, a exclusividade, o matrimonio, a omnipotencia, a perdurabilidade, a fidelidade, o libre albedrío, a equivalencia de amor-namoramento, o emparellamento e os celos.[1]
