Francisco Javier Calvo del Olmo, coñecido literariamente[1] como Francisco Coimbra, nado en Madrid en 1986, é un escritor español en lingua galega.

Traxectoria

Licenciado en Filoloxía Románica na Universidade Complutense de Madrid, doutorouse posteriormente en Tradución pola Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina[2]. Ademais fixo estadías de investigación en Pisa e Montpellier. Foi profesor de lingua española na Universidade Federal do Paraná, en Curitiba. Dende 2022 vive en Múnic, Baviera (Alemaña), e continúa a ensinar as linguas románicas na Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität.[3]

Como investigador ten publicado artigos sobre lingüística ou estudos culturais en publicacións internacionais.

Durante a súa mocidade viviu un tempo en Santiago de Compostela e Ourense.
