A Federación das Indias Occidentais (en inglés: West Indies Federation;[1][2] tamén coñecida como West Indies,[3][4] ou Federation of the West Indies)[5] foi unha unión política de curta duración que existiu dende o 3 de xaneiro de 1958 até o 31 de maio de 1962. Varias illas do Caribe que foron colonias do Reino Unido, incluíndo Trinidad e Tobago, Barbados, Xamaica, e as Illas de Sotavento e Barlovento Británicas, xuntáronse na forma dunha federación, coa súa capital en Porto de España. O obxectivo da Federación era crear unha unidade política que puidese independizarse do Reino Unido como un único estado, semellante á Confederación Canadense, á Australian Commonwealth ou á Federación de Rodesia e Nyasalandia; porén, antes de que puidese acontecer, a Federación colapsou por mor de conflitos políticos internos sobre a maneira na que debía ser gobernada. A formación da Federación das Indias Occidentais foi promovida polo Reino Unido, mais tamén foi requirida polos nacionalistas das Indias Occidentais.[6]
