Varie (バリエ?) est un éditeur et développeur de jeux vidéo japonais fondé en 1986 et disparu en 1997. La société édite et développe des jeux sur Game Boy, Famicom, Super Famicom et Mega Drive.

Nakajima Satoru F-1 Hero

Nakajima Satoru F-1 Hero (中嶋悟F-1ヒーロー?) est un jeu vidéo de course de formule 1 sorti sur Famicom en 1988 au Japon. Le jeu est également sorti en Amérique du Nord sous le nom Michael Andretti's World Grand Prix[1].

Top Rider

Top Rider (トップライダー?) est un jeu vidéo de courses de motos sorti sur Famicom en 1988 au Japon seulement. Neuf circuits sont disponibles, ainsi que deux modes de jeu : « Touring » (entraînement seul sur le circuit) et « Grand Prix » (championnat contre d'autres pilotes). La particularité du jeu est d'avoir été commercialisé avec une petite moto gonflable pouvant servir de périphérique de contrôle. L'ensemble coûtait 9 800 yens, soit le double du prix habituel d'un jeu [2],[3].

Venus Wars

Venus Wars (ヴイナス戦記, Venus Senki?) est un jeu vidéo de stratégie sorti sur Famicom en 1989 au Japon seulement, adapté du manga et de l'anime du même nom. En 2089, la planète Venus est devenue habitable, et deux gouvernements opposés, Ishtar et Aphrodite, luttent pour s'accaparer le pouvoir. Le joueur incarne un membre de Hound, un gang de motards rebelles qui se bat contre l'armée d'Ishtar pour libérer la ville d'Io qui est sous son joug[4],[5],[6].

Parallel World

Parallel World (ぱられるワールド?) est un jeu vidéo de réflexion sorti sur Famicom en 1990. Les deux héros sont perdus dans un monde parallèle et doivent résoudre des énigmes et éviter des monstres pour rentrer chez eux. Le jeu se joue seul ou à deux en coopération[1].

Grand Master

Grand Master (グランドマスター?) est un jeu vidéo de type action RPG en vue de dessus sorti sur Famicom en 1991 au Japon seulement. Le joueur incarne Rody, un jeune escrimeur chef des gardes du corps de la famille royale du continent d'Astral. Lorsque Dante, un démon ancestral ressuscité, enlève la princesse Serena, le jeune homme se lance à leur poursuite. Le jeu offre dès le départ le choix entre cinq zones à explorer, qui mènent à différents embranchements narratifs, ce qui est plutôt novateur pour l'époque. Par son style et son gameplay, Grand Master a des similitudes avec Ys, Mystic Quest et The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past[7],[1].
