Posibacteria est un embranchement du règne des bactéries. L'innovation évolutive correspondant aux posibactéries et qui les distingue des négibactéries est la disparition de la membrane externe et l'épaississement du peptidoglycane. Les posibactéries, en tant que taxon paraphylétique, comprennent les bactéries gram-positives (d'où le préfixe posi-) mais excluent les archébactéries et les eucaryotes.
