Le championnat de France féminin de handball 2007-2008 est la cinquante-sixième édition de cette compétition. Le championnat de Division 1 est le plus haut niveau du championnat de France de ce sport. Douze clubs participent à la compétition.

À la fin de la saison, le HB Metz métropole est désigné Champion de France, devançant Le Havre AC de 6 points et Issy-les-Moulineaux HBF de 8 points. Il s'agit du 15e titre de l'histoire du HB Metz métropole et son 5e consécutif. Le CA Béglais et le CS Vesoul Haute-Saône, relégués en Division 2, sont finalement accompagnés du Mérignac Handball, rétrogradé administrativement[1],[2].
