Barrage contre le Mexique

Afin de permettre aux équipes de Rugby Americas North (sauf les E.U. et le Canada qui ont leur propre voie de qualification) un chemin à la Coupe du monde, le vainqueur de son championnat (c'est le Mexique) a joué un barrage contre le premier du championnat B sud-américain le 29 octobre 2016. La Colombie ayant gagné ce championnat, la rencontre avait lieu à Medellin[2].
