The Chase and Sanborn Hour

The Chase and Sanborn Hour oli nimike, jonka alla esitettiin useita eri radio-ohjelmia vuosien 1929 ja 1948 välisenä aikana. Lähetyksen sponsorina oli Chase and Sanborn Coffee. Ohjelman nimi vaihteli, mutta The Chase and Sanborn Hour oli yleensä aina vähintään alaotsikkona.[1]

Ohjelma esitettiin 1929–1931 nimellä The Chase and Sanborn Choral Orchestra. Loppuajasta ohjelman päätähtenä oli Maurice Chevalier, joka ansaitsi esiintymisestään 5 000 dollaria viikossa, jonka sanottiin olleen suurin esiintymispalkkio aikanaan. Vuodesta 1931 vuoteen 1934 ohjelman päätähtenä oli Eddie Cantor, ja ohjelma tunnettiin yleisesti nimellä Eddie Cantor Show.[1] Joulukuusta 1934 maaliskuuhun 1935 nimikkeen alla lähetettiin Opera Guild -konserttiohjelmaa. Sitä seurasi syksyyn 1936 jatkunut Major Bowes Amateur Hour. Do You Want to be an Actor oli vuorossa keväällä 1937.

Toukokuussa 1937 esiintyjäksi tuli Edgar Bergen. Tämä ohjelma tunnetaan myös nimillä Charlie McCarthy Show ja The Edgar Bergen — Charlie McCarthy Show.[1]
