T. A. Elo

Taavetti Artturi Elo (16. lokakuuta 1884 Valkeala[1] – 26. elokuuta 1954 Helsinki)[2] oli suomalainen arkkitehti joka suunnitteli 1920-, 1930- ja 1940-luvuilla useita asuinkerrostaloja Helsingin Punavuoren, Etu-Töölön ja Taka-Töölön kaupunginosiin.[3]

Elo kävi teollisuuskoulun 1904 ja toimi sitten rakennusmestarina vuoteen 1912 saakka. Hän kirjoitti ylioppilaaksi Kouvolan yhteiskoulussa 1913 ja valmistui arkkitehdiksi Teknillisestä korkeakoulusta 1919. Elo käytti 1920-luvun rakennuksissaan pelkistettyä klassismia ja siirtyi sitten vähitellen 1930-luvun aikana funktionalismiin.[3]
